Nina's funny Smile

Nina is loosing her teeth almost as fast as Trey is getting them. It is quite a bit easier for me to capture her progress on camera. We thought she might loose her top middle tooth first. It has been loose since Thanksgiving. However, as you can see it is still hanging on by a thread. She still has one more tooth on the bottom loose too! Hopefully the Tooth Fairy won't run out of money before all her teeth come out. The Dentist told her yesterday that he asks all his patients for 1/2 of the loot they collect from the Tooth Fairy. Bless her little heart she told him she would share. He also mentioned that he hasn't had anyone actually follow through with his request. Gini is working on a number line to give the Dentist next time we are in to help him count her teeth. She just can't understand why he can only count to 3 if she can count to 100.

Fun in the SNOW!!

Last week a big snow storm blew through and dropped 8 inches of snow on us over two days. We ended up having 2 Snow Days home from school and the kids had a lot of fun playing outside too! We have a fairly good sized hill behind our house and the girls had a great time playing in the snow and sledding with their friends. Santa brought Gini 3 sleds for Christmas this year. They got to try them all out and found that the green toboggan seems to be the best one. Everyone, including all the neighbor kids, lined up at the top of the hill to wait their turn for a ride. They even played in the snow at Maw Maw and Paw Paw's new house. Maybe Maw Maw should brush up on her blogging skills and post some of her photos from the fun they had there! And for those of you who noticed -- YES, Trey is wearing his sisters' pink boots. We'll probably hear about it someday when he's old enough to realize what we did, but we just wanted to keep his tootsies warm! (click on the photo to view larger)
