Easter...Perfect!

Sunday turned out to be a another beautiful day.  We couldn't have asked for better Easter weather.  We had a total of 5 Eggs hunts over the course of 2 days.  Three being on easter....now that is alot of hunting.
Here are some shots of the hunters at 2 of our hunts on Easter Day.

Here is one of my first attempts at a photo of the kids.  Can you guess what the Easter Bunny brought Trey?

Here is a photo of all the Great Grandkids at our family gathering. Sometimes it is a bit tricky to get one with all the kids. I don't even attempt to make it so they all are looking!!

Trip to the Barber Shop

Trey loves to go to the Barber shop with his Pa Pa.  He thinks he is pretty HOT STUFF in the barber chair.  He holds super still for them and even lets him use clippers!

We're Going to the ZOO.....

Friday was a beautiful day so we thought we would take advantage and plan a trip to the Zoo. We had a great time along side the other million people who also had the same idea!! We had to park really far away and the girls decided to see the lions, tigers and giraffes, which we normally skip because they are farthest away so we walked quite a far distance before we saw any animals.

We got to see the bird cage and bird garden on our way back down the hill from Red Rock.

We stopped for a snack of grapes and popcorn. Trey loves "Pop-porn"

We had to see the elephants for Gini....and got stuck in a traffic jam because they were showing off for their trainers.  It was a good impromptu show!!

Parents as Teachers Playgroup

Trey and I went to an Easter PACT playgroup.  He really loves to go and play with all the new toys they have there.  Sometimes he will do the crafts too.  This time he just cut paper but didn't really do the craft.  He did have alot of fun though and that is all that matters.  He also got to hunt for some easter eggs.

He also got to have an easter snack and see the Easter Bunny. I honestly didn't think he would want to sit on his lap. To my suprize he was the first in line. He even went back a second time for some more bunny Love!

Our Young Author

I'm well behind on the game here... Nina worked really hard this fall to write a story for the Young Authors contest. She wanted to be selected so she could meet a "real author." She did quite a bit of listening and researching for her story. She was inspired by her cousin experinces hunting with her dad. Although Nina has never been deer hunting before she wrote a story called "My First Hunting Trip." It was full of detail and very well writen. She even fooled most of the teachers into thinking she had actually gone Hunting!!
