Look Who's 5

We had Gini's 5th birthday party at the gym where she takes Gymnastics. It proved to be a really great time for all the kids and seemed to wear everyone out quite well.....including me.

They were allowed to tryout some of the equipment that the big girls use and they all really had a great time on the bars, beam, rope swing and rings.

Nina has been practicing jumping rope at recess....she is getting quite good

Gini is getting brave on the beam. She used to have someone right next to her before she would move.

Who invited the monkey's anyway...
Gini got a lot of really great gifts and she played with them all within the first 1hour of being home.

They even let Trey get in on the fun. Boy he thought he was hot stuff crawling around on the mats. Then he found the trampoline....he just walked from one end to the other and laughed and giggled.

Playing Soccer

This year Nina and Gini are on different soccer teams. Nina had a game Saturday and I was able to get some pictures of her playing before I had to go fill in for daddy as a coach for Gini's Team. Yes... you read that right for all of you picking yourself back off the floor. I can't remember the last time I actually played soccer but I managed to heard the cattle on the defensive end quite well till the last five minutes when all 8 players on our team lost interest in the game. 45 minutes is a long time for 4-5 year olds. Good thing we don't keep score!!

Nina was playing defense in this quarter. She seems to have improved greatly from last year. She is a pretty good at defense and seems to enjoy soccer quite a bit. These pictures pretty well speak for themselves. I love my new camera by the way....It takes far better pictures than last years shots.

Look at Me...I am walking!!

This is the best picture I could get of Trey's newest expression. It is such an ugly face....I will keep trying.

This week he learned how to walk across the room....with a bit of motivation....

He just loves balls. This train has a set of 3 balls that you drop in and then they pop out the other side. He just sits for a long time droping the balls in and watching them come back out.

You can't see the ball but he just dropped one in.
P.S. These pictures are in quite a bit of delay. They were taken Sept. 15th. Right now Trey can walk from one side of the house to the other....we might be working on running now!!!

Beauty Shop Babes

The girls decided to have a Beauty shop while we were down at the lake. Danette twisted their hair one night after a bath....they had a lot of fun getting their hair done. Unfortunately, their hair didn't curl so good. But they still looked cute!!

Lake Weekend

Every year we go to Lake of the Ozarks with some friends for a weekend getaway. We always have a really great time. Here are some photos of the fun we had while we were there this year.

Trey catching some ZZZZ's with his "new" horse.....(which used to be Nina's)

Gini swinging with Allie and Anna.
Gini going for a ride with Matt and Daddy....BUT not fast like Nina
Nina really enjoyed riding on the Sea Doo with the boys....She liked to go fast (probably not as fast a Daddy) but did not like to turn in circles.

Trey might be in a suit but was not at all interested in swiming in the lake. The water was warm but the air was cool, and he was not about to get in.

Above: Gini warming up and letting her lip color come back to normal. Lets face it it was a bit chilly swimming but the girls had a blast.

Below: Anna is taking a nap on her mama while we watch the kids swim in the lake.

The Girls swimming with Matt in the lake. Gini even jumped in the lake from the dock.
