Happy Birthday Seneca!

Look who's finally 1! To celebrate we went to the Farmers Market for lunch and also did some shopping. What else would a little girl want to do with Aunts and Cousins who love to EAT and SHOP.

What is a girl to do when she doesn't have anything to wear for her big party....SHOP. So she twisted our arms and we came along too.....look at the loot below. New sunglasses and purses to boot. And a ton of other fun things. CAN you say SALES and good ones at that. We are teaching her early.

California Day 1

 

This might very well be the best Taco I have ever eaten in my entire life. So if you are ever in LA get some cash and head to Tito's Tacos it is amazing.

We went to Hollywood in search for some stars. Didn't find any but did catch a real live cop chase similar to what you would see in the movies. Does that count?

The girls just love to watch some of the old shows I used to watch as a kid and I think it is so funny.  Scooby Doo, Cosby, Family Matters, Full House....etc...

Gini just adores Michael Jackson's music!

USO Mud Run

Byron and some friends decided to run in the USO Mud Run. It was a team event hence the coordinating t-shirts. Their team name was Muscle Team of Danger and Excellence. Watch out next year I'm pretty sure they all saved their shirts. Byron even saved his socks and shoes....not sure why?

P.S.  Not everyone got as muddy as some of these team members.
 They apparently decided to dive in a mud pit to make the run more fun!!

Shriners Parade

 We love watching the Shriners Parade....but mostly we love spending time with our family. Here is Trey's favorite cousin Maddy. Maddy gave Trey his infamous nickname "TREY BOY". I'm convinced when he starts school he will correct his teacher and tell her his name isn't Trey it is "Trey Boy"!

Talent Show

This year Nina and her friend Hannah decided to try out for the school talent show. They worked really hard sing and dance to the song "Lets Get Together" from the movie The Parent Trap. They did a fantastic job singing and dancing and performed twice once for the school and once for the parents.

They all have such a good time together.

Kindergarten Graduation

Gini is so excited to be finished with school and go to 1st grade next year.  She loves school and she loves playing with her friends outside and on the playground.

Here she is with our neighbor and good friend Abbie. 

She had 2 speaking parts for graduation and did great!

 

She chose Nina to go up and sing and dance to a crazy song with her.
