This weekend we spent Celebrating the 4th of July and also Celebrating Friendship. A family we are close friends with moved to Germany today. As we left last night the girls said they were missing them already. They are busy thinking of ways to save money to go visit. If we don't make it to Germany in the next 2 years we will be sure to visit them at their next stop.It has been our tradition for the last 3 years they have been here to visit some of the local firework festivals. We saw Fireworks on Friday night. Then, Saturday we had a nice BBQ despite the not so nice weather. We even shot some of our own fireworks thanks to the Dads. Sunday we saw Fireworks that we should have saw on Saturday! We had alot of fun and today we are just resting.
We managed to get the kids to pose for a few pictures. I am reminded every time I do this that it is impossible to get them all to sit still no matter how old they are!!
Trey is absolutely in love with Tractors. He found one in our friends garage and it entertained him for a long time. My favorite is the helmet that he insisted putting on backwards. He would ride down one driveway across the street and then up and down the neighbors driveway too.
